Community Connections
Linslade is committed to building strong links with our community whilst also offering a window into the wider world for our EPIC learners. Learners are encouraged to positively contribute to the their community. Below are just a sample of the activitities the school has been involved in and some links to local events and places.
Fun Run: Kids Out Charity
In May 2025, students took part in our inaugural ‘Fun Run’ around the fields of Cedars Upper School to raise money for the wonderful local charity, KidsOut. Students could choose to run, walk or skip around the course in order to obtain sponsorships from friends and family. In total, the Linslade community raised over £2000 for this fantastic cause!
Leighton Linslade Helpers
Each year the Linslade School community joins forces with Leighton Linslade Helpers. This organisation offers help to those who find themselves in difficult circumstances. They provide a range of services including food parcels, a community fridge, prescription deliveries, welfare checks, counselling, personal shopping, and many other initiatives that support the community. Each year we collect food to donate to the Leighton Linslade Helpers food bank.
Reading Picnic
Every summer we invite students from the local lower schools to join us for a reading picnic. The aim is to promote and celebrate a love of reading. This year we had over 180 students join us!
Living History Trail
Welcome to the Living History Trail where you can discover who walked down these streets before you. The trail captures a glimpse into the lives of ordinary townsfolk and shares the impact they left on the Town’s history. What mark will you leave? This trail leaflet gives a hint of what the trail is all about.
