COVID 19 Update
Monday 30th November 2020
As we come to the end of our nation's second lockdown we are once again hugely impressed with the resilience and attitude of all of our learners and staff. Attendance across the school is significantly higher than this time last year. Our recent parents survey shows how happy our students are and how safe they feel at school. We are delighted with this vote of confidence from our key stakeholders.
We have constructed a remote learning platform and protocols for home learning should it be necessary to send a cohort or Year group home. These have been shared with students and will be shared with parents in due course. Inevitably, there will be cases of children or staff testing positive for the virus and, when they do, we will follow all the Public Health England guidelines to the letter.
To date there have been no cases reported and so all students should also be in school as usual.
We ask parents to remember that, if any member of their family is unwell with COVID 19 symptoms, please arrange for them to be tested and inform the school of the result. Please also remind your children of the importance of hand hygiene at home and at school and also of the importance of following the ‘Catch it. Bin it, Kill it’ routine.
